I had a pretty decent time today! They switched to cards that you swipe to access games instead of tokens- which I don't mind but will miss dearly as it was present throughoutthe times I went as a child.
The games themselves are okay- just your run of the mill skeeball machines and coin droppers with a couple of unique ones tossed in for variety (piano tiles, crossy road-esque games). The only issue I have (that isn't too big) is that the card scanner is a bit flawed in that you don't swipe; you have to hold your card against the scanner for a good chunk of time and even so, your scan mught not load and you have to repeat the whole process of frustratingly holding your card against whatever machine you chose to play.
Tickets are kind of iffy, you don't get that much from a game if you don't know what and how to play it. Prizes are unfortunately "expensive", and you have to rack up a GOOD amount of tickets if you want something nice (I'm talking the higher end of 2000), which also means more money spent (usually) at the parent's expense- but hey, that's how they make money.
Overall my trip was alright, the staff were kind and I especially appreciate them letting me take home a good chunk of their Airheads candies- I might just come back soon! -

party review:
1) Reserve Online to pick Super Star package. Comes with 6 helium balloons, Souvenir cups (unlimited refills), play cards, 500 bonus tickets, ticket blaster machine, and 45 play points per child.
~ $22/kid & $3/adult
2) i estimated my guests to be 12 kids and 20 adults. after people flaked last minute (rainy day), i wound up with only 8 kids and 19 adults. So yea, i had to eat $80 cuz i don't get reimbursed for no-shows! Horrible policy chuck E. cheese.
And i don't know how they compute what suffices as enough pizza for 32 people, but 3 medium pizzas doesn't satisfy. i even ordered 2 sampler platters and 1 salad platter, and that didn't suffice. Ordered another medium pepperoni pizza and that quickly disappeared too.
what are u charging $3/adult for??? It definitely doesn't get u more pizza, that's for sure.
Recommendation: Do UPGRADE for the unlimited play passes. it is worth it for the kids. And Do get their birthday cake! The chocolate cake was so moist, my guests were highly impressed by the quality.
Praise: Jenny was a fantastic hostess! She kept the party flowing on schedule and kept an eye on my birthday boy. She also expedited the salad platters to our table and did a wonderful job with refilling sodas and cleaning up the tables at the end. I was well informed throughout the whole 2hour party process. -

Good childhood place. Brought back memories but wouldn't come here anytime soon.
This is ridiculous! 6 piece pizza with ONE extra topping is 9.81?!? I didn't mind until i realized the pizza was the size of my hand!!! It's awfully greasy and NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. If i knew it was going to be this, I would drive to another place just for pizza. KEEP IN MIND, the pizza was thrown like that onto the plate before the served it to us.
Staff are pretty much clueless and it is extremely packed!!! Tooked me twenty five minutes to find parking.
In addition, people are awfully rude.
Most games are broken therefore we had to look for staff. Games cost 1-4 tokens!! Which is absurd! For two tokens i expect to DRIVE MYSELF. But the wheel KEPT TURNING ITSELF.
---------------------------------------------
UPDATE: Two male staff, one named Luis, helped up resolve the game problems with the driving games without hesitation! They were super welcoming and did the job quick!
One other male staff helped us solve the problem of the ticket machine getting jammed twice.
Didn't catch their names, but that's the staff I expected to encounter when I stepped foot into the place. Not some girl giving attitude. -

This is my favorite Chuck E Cheese in the Bay Area, and I have visited various locations. This one is 2 stories, so there are plenty of games for the kids to enjoy.
At this location, Chuck E Cheese comes out every hour on the :30 mark (10:30, 11:30, 12:30, etc). Its great to see all the kids waiting for Chuck E cheese outside the employee door. When he comes out, all the kids are constantly running and chasing after him. Sometimes Chuck E Cheese will throw tickets or he may do a dance in the stage area. If you have a young toddler, this may be a bit dangerous since the toddler may get trampled over.
I like how there is a kiddie ride section and they all cost one point. There are also other arcade games like water gun, whack a mole, skee ball, etc. You will need at least 1000 tickets to get a decent prize at Chuck E Cheese.
This location can get packed and crowded very fast. By noon, there is definitely no parking, so I would recommend parents to come early if possible. There are always birthday parties being thrown here every weekend, too. -

Poor customer service. They don't want to give out boxes for leftover pizza in case you're one of those people who steal from the salad bar. How about they walk around and offer boxes for people who DO have leftovers.
